Play Balloon Blast free online — a arcade game that loads straight into the page. Think shooting — that is the shape of it. Everything runs client-side, so it starts fast even on a modest connection.
About Balloon Blast
Shoot the ballons and enjoy. INSTRUCTIONS: 1)Use the arrow keys for moving the cannon. 2)Use the space bar to shoot the ballon.
How to play Balloon Blast
There is very little to learn before your first run. Nothing about the control scheme is unusual; the table below covers all of it. Landscape layout: give it the fullscreen button on desktop, or rotate your phone. The second run is always better than the first — that is the whole learning curve.
Controls
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
| Mouse | Aim |
| Left click | Fire |
| WASD | Move |
| R | Reload |
On mobile: Tap and swipe on screen. Turn your phone sideways — this game is designed for landscape and fills a horizontal screen.
Why it is worth playing
The reason Balloon Blast holds up is restraint: it takes one idea — shooting — and builds the whole game around it instead of padding it out. It works as well on a phone on a bus as it does on a desktop.
