Submit a Game
We add games to a 6,053-title catalogue every week. If yours is a browser-playable HTML5 game that works on a phone, we would like to see it.
Why list with us
Your game gets its own indexed page with a written description, a how-to-play and controls breakdown, an FAQ and related-game links — not just a tile in a grid. Listings are ranked on how well a game holds players, so a genuinely good game climbs on merit. Nobody buys placement here.
Listing is free. We do not take a cut of your in-game advertising or purchases, and we do not ask for exclusivity — list with us and with everyone else.
What we accept
- HTML5 / WebGL games that run in a modern browser with no plugin, no download and no installer. Unity WebGL, Construct, Godot web export, Phaser, GameMaker HTML5 and hand-written JavaScript are all fine.
- Mobile-friendly games. Touch controls must work, and the game must resize sensibly on a phone in its intended orientation. A desktop-only, keyboard-only game is a hard sell — most of our traffic is on a phone.
- Family-friendly content. Suitable for a general audience including children.
- A finished game. A complete loop with a start, a fail state and a reason to play again. Prototypes and demos are not listed.
- English-language menus and instructions, or a language selector that includes English.
What we do not accept
These are firm — please do not submit and ask us to make an exception:
- Gambling in any form: real-money wagering, casino, betting, sportsbook, loot-box mechanics presented as gambling, or simulated casino games that push players towards a real-money product.
- Adult or sexual content, nudity, or games built around sexualised characters.
- Graphic violence, gore, cruelty, or violence against realistic humans as the point of the game.
- Hate, harassment or discriminatory content, and content promoting self-harm, drugs, alcohol or tobacco.
- Games that collect personal data from players, require an account or email address to play, or ask for payment details.
- Clones and rips. Games using assets, characters or trade marks you do not have the rights to. We check, and we remove — see our DMCA policy.
- Anything that breaks the page: forced redirects, pop-ups, pop-unders, fake system warnings, autoplaying unmuted audio, or ads that cover the play area.
Technical requirements
- Playable from a single HTTPS URL that we can embed in an iframe — your server must not send an
X-Frame-Optionsor restrictiveframe-ancestorsheader that blocks it. - Responsive to the frame it is given, in a declared orientation (portrait or landscape). No fixed pixel canvas that overflows a phone screen.
- Loads in a reasonable time on a mid-range phone over 4G. If your first-load payload is tens of megabytes, expect a high bounce rate and a low ranking.
- Audio starts muted or after a user gesture — browsers block it otherwise, and players hate it regardless.
- A square thumbnail of at least 512×512, clean, readable at 100 pixels wide, with no store badges, no "play now" buttons and no fake UI.
What to send
One email with all of this. Missing pieces are the main reason a submission sits in the queue:
- Game title and a one-line hook (under 20 words).
- Playable URL — the embeddable HTTPS link, live and final.
- Description, 80–150 words, describing what the player actually does.
- Category and tags you think fit, chosen from the categories and tags listed in the site footer.
- Controls for both desktop and touch.
- Thumbnail (512×512 or larger). The thumbnail is what appears in every grid on the site, so it does more work than anything else you send. Two or three screenshots are welcome for the review, though listings do not display them.
- Orientation and the native resolution the game is designed for.
- Rights statement: confirmation that you own or control all rights in the game and its assets, and that you grant Playnix a non-exclusive, revocable licence to embed and promote it. Name any third-party assets and their licences.
- Your details: studio or developer name, website, and a contact address we can reach you at later.
Send your submission
Email everything above in one message with "Game submission" and your game's title in the subject line. Attachments are fine; links to a shared folder are better.
Submit your gameHow review works
- Acknowledgement, ~2 business days. A human confirms we have it, or tells you what is missing.
- Play test, 1–2 weeks. We play the game on a desktop and on a mid-range Android phone, and check it against the content and technical rules above. Load time, touch controls and whether the game is actually fun carry the most weight.
- Decision. Accepted, accepted with changes requested, or declined. If we decline, we say why in one honest paragraph. You are welcome to fix the issue and resubmit — that happens often and it usually works.
- Publication. Accepted games go live within a week of acceptance with their own page, and appear in the new-games rail on the home page for a visibility window. We send you the URL.
We do not reply to bulk or automated submissions, and we do not accept portfolio dumps — one email per game, please.
After you are listed
- Your rights do not change. The game stays yours. Our licence is non-exclusive and revocable — see the terms of use.
- Updates are welcome. Email us when you ship a new version, especially if the embed URL changes; a dead embed gets delisted automatically.
- You can leave at any time. Ask us to remove the game and we will, no argument and no notice period. Email miguelmonteracharger@gmail.com.
Already with a distributor?
Most of our catalogue arrives through HTML5 distribution partners such as GamePix. If your game is already licensed to one of them, it may reach us automatically without you doing anything — but a direct submission gets it reviewed sooner and lets you control the description and artwork. Both routes are fine, and there is no conflict between them.
