Mahjong Deluxe is a browser-based board game that runs instantly, with nothing to install. Think mahjong and retro & arcade — that is the shape of it. It works the same on desktop, tablet and phone, and your progress picks up where the game left it.
About Mahjong Deluxe
Mahjong Deluxe is a free mahjong game based on a classic Chinese game. The goal is to remove all tiles from the board. You may remove only paired free tiles.
How to play Mahjong Deluxe
Nothing here needs explaining twice. Keep a hand on the arrow keys / WASD; everything else is listed in the controls table. Landscape layout: give it the fullscreen button on desktop, or rotate your phone. Nothing is lost by trying something reckless once.

Why it is worth playing
What makes Mahjong Deluxe stick is that failure is informative. You can usually name the mistake, and that is what makes another attempt tempting. That is a rarer quality than it sounds.
