Car Rapide is a free adventure game you can play right here in your browser. The core of it is car. No account, no install and no plugins — just the game in a browser tab.
About Car Rapide
Drive and avoid obstacles on the roads of Senegal. Collect coins and unlock special cars!
How to play Car Rapide
There is no tutorial to sit through — the game explains itself. Keep a hand on the arrow keys / WASD; everything else is listed in the controls table. It is built tall rather than wide — comfortable one-handed on a phone, centred and uncropped on a monitor. There is no penalty for failing, so push a little harder than feels safe.
Controls
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
| Arrow keys / WASD | Drive and steer |
| Spacebar | Brake |
On mobile: Tap and swipe directly on the screen. The game is built for portrait, so you can play one-handed without rotating your phone.
Why it is worth playing
The reason Car Rapide holds up is restraint: it takes one idea — car — and builds the whole game around it instead of padding it out. That is the whole pitch, and it is enough.
